Who Are We?
The Cielo Vista Optimist Club was chartered in 1958 to serve the community of El Paso. We are just everyday people who want to make a difference for the children in El Paso. We are educators, business persons, retirees, and students who value our city and all it has to offer. Optimist International is a worldwide volunteer organization made up of more than 2,500 local Clubs whose Members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves.
